Online 3-credit-hour course during the upcoming fall and/or winter semesters

Brookhaven National Laboratory’s National Synchrotron Light Source-II (NSLS-II) and Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) are planning to offer a live, online 3-credit-hour course during the upcoming fall and/or winter semesters for a select group of university departments.  Yours has been identified as a possibility.  The targeted audience will be graduate students interested in learning the techniques used at advanced light sources (AdLSs), such as protein crystallography, chemical catalysis, materials imaging, X-ray diffraction and atomic/molecular spectroscopy.  Moreover, techniques for sample preparation and examination will be described.  The course would be taken as a Special Topics course of our Department.

Those students interested in taking the course please inform Nilka or Ileana.
