FISI 3011: University Physics I
Description
This is the first part (Mechanics) of the calculus-based introductory physics course for science majors. Topics include: One-dimensional motion; Vectors and their algebra; Motion in a Plane; Newton's Laws; Conservation of energy and linear momentum, center of mas, torque and conservation of angular momentum; Harmonic motion; Dynamics of rigid bodies, moments of inertia and kinetic energy of rotation; Gravitational two body problems and Kepler's laws. At the level of the book "Physics for Scientists and Engineers" by Serway.
